Here's a revision of our presentation to "A Giant Company"
For the record they were very nice and wished us luck.
Hi Bob,
We're big fans, highly respect your achievements and apologize in advance for having some fun with your logo.
This about the mobile internet and making connections to the people that use it!
Please lookup 2627277667.info; it's a 'Number That Works'
The number 2627277667 translates to Bob "Huge Name" on a phone keypad (but other things too) and validates that the Numbers That Work© domain naming system remains open to interpretation. (no trademark or copyright issues)
Using a phone keypad to translate the numbers to text is new. (Others may be using this but we believe we're the first to define it and create a naming convention to validate the method as a system for naming domain names)
Another fun example is;
3668225563.com which translates to 'Don’t Call Me' on a phone keypad.
Example 2 - A 1-Dial Domain
Please do a lookup of: 1-4632339.com
The 1-4632339.com domain name resembles a phone number and the 4632339 translates to HoDaffy on a phone keypad (4632339)
1-name.com is an example of what we have defined as a 1-Dash domain; where letters and words follow the 1 dash.
Also, we wrote an application (named KeyPad Golf ) that does the text to number conversion with links to our Numbers That Work online domain registration store and have developed a cheeky Chameleon character named KiiWii for promotional purposes.
Summary:
This is a novel way to sell domain names (10 digits or more are readily available – phrases etc)
Kinda cool and unique if we say so ourselves.
